Prime Minister greets the countrymen on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr

Since the moon of the month of Shawwal was not seen in the sky of Bangladesh yesterday, Eid-ul-Fitr is going to be celebrated tomorrow, Tuesday (April 3). Meanwhile, on Sunday (May 1), Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina sent an Eid greetings to the countrymen in a video message through social media. The previous day, the same audio message was sent to the mobile phone subscribers from the Teletalk number. In a video message, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, 'Dear countrymen, Assalamu Alaikum. Happy Eid-ul-Fitr to you and all your family members. After a month of fasting, the holy Eid-ul-Fitr has come again. Eid means joy. Let us share the joy of Eid amongst us. Being spirited by the glory of Eid-ul-Fitr, ley us dedicate ourselves to the welfare of the country and its people. Stay healthy, stay safe. Eid Mubarak.’ In a message on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the Prime Minister said, "Eid teaches a unique lesson of peace, compassion and brotherhood. Forgetting violence, hatred and violence, people are bound by the bonds of equality, friendship and harmony. Eid carries a message of joy in the lives of all, rich and poor alike. The joy of Eid is for all of us.” Sheikh Hasina said, "Let the self-purification, restraint, friendship and harmony of the Muslims prevail in the life of the individual, family, society and the state - this should be the fervent desire of Eid. May the life of every human being be filled to the fullest with laughter, joy and endless joy of Eid. May Allah bless all the people of the world with happiness, peace, welfare and prosperity.” The Prime Minister said, "Even though, the Corona pandemic situation has improved to some extent, I would request that we should avoid crowds as much as possible, and enjoy Eid with our families in accordance with the rules of hygiene and pray to Allah, so that we get rid of this pandemic shortly."
